I used it on my aircraft cowl. Cowl was a little oily, I wiped it down but the adhesive on the tape didn't do much. I had to use a tube of adhesive glue to smear under the tape to get it to hold but it will work fine as Chafe protection on the metal to metal cowling.

First time using this tape. Easy to apply but challenging to remove back peel. Will use again when I run out.

difficulty getting it to work.

i'm having difficulty separating the tape from the backing. the adhesive is half on the tape and half on the backing. i stopped and put it away for another day. ended up (easily) removing 6 inches as it was not sticking. threw that away. it's too expensive to throw away. i diverted to electricians tape.
